About
The posts on this blog are created as a part of MS100PZ: Asian Americans in Media, a media studies class at Pitzer College in Claremont, CA, USA during the Spring Semester of 2009. This blog is created a forum designed to allow students to respond to the films and other media, class readings, and discussions. As such, their posts are used to initiate debate, pose relevant questions raised by the films or the reading, comment on class discussion, etc. During the Spring 2009 Semester, this blog will also serve as a venue to facilitate the conception and production of P.O.P./Cultural Intimacies, a public art project by Yong Soon Min that is commissioned for the Intercollegiate Department of Asian American Studies (IDAAS) space at Pomona College. Other class activities open to the public, such as a screening series of recent Asian American films, will also be announced on this blog. For details about MS100, go to the course web site.
